**Enabling API Tokens is only available to paid PreciseFP subscribers. API Tokens are not available during a trial.**
PreciseFP provides a set of RESTful APIs that will allow you to interact with your data, build custom workflows, and easily integrate your current tech stack with our tools and services.
To get access to our APIs, the administrator of the PreciseFP subscription can email us at support@precisefp.com. By requesting API access, you acknowledge that API development and integration support are outside the scope of Customer Support.
Once API tokens have been enabled by PreciseFP, you will want to log out and back into your PreciseFP account before navigating to Settings > Integrations. You should now see a green 'API Tokens' box in the upper right-hand corner of this window.
The first time you click on 'API Tokens' here, it will provide you a disclaimer to agree to before proceeding.
Please note:
We only generate oAuth2 credentials to partners that are developing integrations with us. You can only generate access tokens directly via the API Tokens.
To add a record, click on the green '+' button in the upper right-hand corner to get started.
Provide a name and the user this API Token will be associated with and you will be provided an Access Token.
Support Limitations
The PreciseFP API is intended for developers and technical users building custom integrations.
Our Customer Support team is not able to provide support for API development or custom integrations. This includes, but is not limited to:
API development or implementation
Custom integrations
Authentication or API configuration
Debugging API requests or responses
API code, scripts, or development best practices
Troubleshooting custom applications that use the PreciseFP API
The examples above are not an exhaustive list. Our Support team cannot answer questions related to API development, implementation, or troubleshooting. If you require assistance with your integration, we recommend working with a developer or technical resource experienced with API's.
