Note: The integration with Docupace must already have been enabled in order to proceed.
(This guide will walk you through enabling the initial Docupace integration.)
Enabling document export (one-time for site)
To enable the export of documents to Docupace, visit the integration details and click the "Open" button next to "Integration mapper".
Please note: To configure document export, your PreciseFP user must also have permission to access the Integration Mapper.
Once in the mapper, click the "Identification" button and scroll down until the "Custom Settings" section. Here you will be able to enable four different document export workflows:
Manual export of Profile documents: When you export a client or prospect, any documents uploaded to their profile will be included in the export operation.
Automatic export of Profile documents: After a client or prospect account is linked (exported/imported once), any future documents uploaded to their profile will be automatically exported.
Automatic export of form engagement documents: After a client or prospect is linked (exported/imported once), any documents uploaded in a form engagement will be automatically exported. A PDF copy of the form engagement will be automatically exported once the form engagement is completed.
Automatic export of pdf engagement documents: After a client or prospect is linked (exported/imported once), any documents associated with a pdf engagement will be automatically exported once the pdf engagement is completed.
Exporting to a Docupace client folder
Click on a client/prospect name to open their account details. Click on the Export button.
Select Docupace (Client Folder) from the available integrations.
If the client is not already in Docupace you can create a new record or, if they do exist in Docupace, you can search by last name and export into the already existing record.
The client in Docupace must have an email address in the Client Folder and must not be linked to an already existing PreciseFP account.
If you are unable to find your client record even after confirming that it has an email address, it is likely the record was associated with a PreciseFP account in the past or linked to a Rep Code you may not have access to. Please contact your Docupace admin and/or Docupace support to troubleshoot the issue.
Importing from a Docupace Client Folder
Click on Accounts from the left hand side and then select All Accounts. Then click on the + icon in the upper right hand corner.
Click on the Import tab, choose Prospect or Client and choose Docupace (Client Folder).
Search the record you wish to import by last name.
