Best Practice: Handling User / Administrator Departure

How to update your subscription prior to the departure of a User or Administrator

Template Ownership

Your Templates under Form Templates > My Templates, PDF Templates > My Templates, and Report Templates > My Templates belong to your User only.

Prior to departure, share these templates with other Users on your subscription with 'Allow copies' set to 'Yes'

At least one other User on the subscription must make their own copy of this template in their own My Templates domains.

'Shared With Me' categorized templates that were shared by the departing User will be lost upon removal of said User

Shared With Me templates that will be lost upon removal of the sharing User


Administrator Departure

If the Administrator of your subscription is departing the office, PreciseFP requests that the Administrator email Support ahead of time at support@precisefp.com, requesting another User on the subscription be made the Administrator instead.

PreciseFP cannot update a User's login email address so another person can assume the User. Rather, we would add the new User, then remove the departing User.

This is to maintain accuracy in PreciseFP's Timelines for your audit and reporting needs.

It is very important to perform this maintenance prior to the departure of your User/Administrator.
