Web Publishing Form Templates

Make your Forms more accessible to existing clients or use as a lead generation tool via Web Publishing

Updated over 2 months ago

Publishing to the web will provide you a method of making your form available on your website or via a generic URL you can share.

To publish a template for the web, click the “+” button on the top right corner of the “Web published” section under Form templates.

Select the template you wish to publish and select the publish method. There are five publish methods:

  • URL - Generates a URL for the template that can then be copied and pasted into an email or other method of delivery.

  • HTML Link - Generates the code required to show a standard link on a website or social network.

  • Button - Generates the code required to show a button on a website or social network.

  • Bar - Generates the code required to show a full width bar at the top or bottom of a website or social network.

  • IFRAME - Generates the code required to show the template inside an iframe on a website or social network.

After generating the required code, copy and paste it onto your website or social network in the place where you wish the component to appear. Embedding to your website may require additional assistance outside of PreciseFP.

High vs. Low security Form Templates and Web Publishing

High Security

  • Option to allow visitors to 'Sign Up' and create their own prospect record by completing the engagement

  • Existing clients must authenticate in order for the connections on the form template to pre-fill with existing information in their Account Profile

  • Can save low and high security level data to Account Profile

  • You can select which authentication method existing clients will use

  • You can select whether the option to 'Sign Up' or 'Sign In' appears first on the authentication screen

Low Security

  • Recommended for Lead Generation, Surveys, or Polls, for example

  • Does not require authentication by recipient

  • Cannot pre-fill with any existing data from PreciseFP

  • Creates a new Prospect Account each time the form is accessed (This may cause duplicates, which we recommend reviewing and deleting one of the records before proceeding with onboarding)

  • Can only save low security level data to newly created prospect profile via form template connections
