If you want to make your field require an input, enter the template editor of your template.
Mandatory Elements can be manually set one element at a time, or you can use a prompt to our AI Template Editor to set all fields in a Group or on a Page as mandatory.
Go to Templates (1) > My Templates (2) and locate the field you wish to make mandatory and click on the pencil icon (3).
Once the element details appear, click the Yes radio button under Mandatory Field, then click on Save.
Now the field will have a red asterisk next to it, indicating it is mandatory.
Default mandatory fields will not allow the client to 'close/complete' the engagement by clicking 'Finish' at the end and will instead bring them to the earliest unfulfilled mandatory field on the engagement.
Prevent Navigation When Validation Fails
Enable the 'Prevent navigation when validation fails' option and the client / prospect will not be able to proceed to the next page until all mandatory elements on the page are fulfilled.
This setting is disabled by default on each template. Select 'Enable'. Now you can select whether all navigation is prevented when a mandatory field is left unfulfilled, or certain navigation is allowed. Then click 'Save'.
This will also bring up the option as to whether mandatory fields should be enforced when Previewing the engagement as a PreciseFP User.
Be sure to save your changes when done editing these settings
